The Western Pennsylvania
Chapter of the National Hemophilia Foundation
was founded in the 1950’s and was incorporated
as a 501©(3) non profit organization
in 1976. We work to help improve the lives
of the members of the bleeding disorders community
through educational programs, guidance, and
support. |
|
|
| The
Western Pennsylvania Chapter of the National Hemophilia
Foundation will lead the way in Western Pennsylvania
in enriching the lives of those living with hemophilia
and other coagulation disorders. |
|
|
|

We will be, and be
known as, a helping, caring organization offering
hope, guidance and education to patient and
family. |
|
|
|
We will increase awareness
among appropriate audiences in order to meet
the needs of the bleeding disorder patients
and families. |

We will contribute
to the treatment of bleeding disorders as
well as to the treatment of secondary health-related
issues. |
|
|
|
We will support research
of improved treatment and the eventual cure
of bleeding disorders. |
|
|
|
We will achieve our
goals by attracting the people and financial
resources to do so. |
